This painting is little magic portal back to La Napoule, in the south of France. I created this painting after my stay in art retreats in the south of France.
I was charmed by Côte d’Azur and I loved especially its stones. I found them in the walls of Château de La Napoule, along the beach paths, and it captivated me. The Côte d’Azur is at the center of the composition, but the stones are the stars here.
I painted the feeling of being there: the light, the colors, the atmosphere I want to remember. Bring a piece of the Côte d’Azur into your home.
